Garden Studies
2000 - 2017
The Garden Studies series are emotional landscapes where multiple flowers and shapes allow for layering of different colours, textures and glazes.
The landscapes are not about physical territories but human placement within them. The path invites the viewer to walk in to the field and experience the atmosphere created by vivid colours and transparencies.
The main focus lies not only in the mood but, also, in exploration of variety of painting techniques and styles. It is an ongoing examination of textures and surfaces within the subject matter.
